We chose to notate the score in A instead of Ab, as it is listened in the recording. It was because the musician certainly played with open strings of the instrument. Then on can conclude that or the recording is sounding half step above due to a reel rotation problem [as in other excerpts], or the instrument was tuned that way.
One may consider all the transcription as an approximation, because the performance has a unique character, almost folkloric, that cannot be fully notated into musical scores.
The score could have been notated without any bar or time signature, in a more free manner, however we chose to notate it that way to facilitate the proof-reading.
Some syllables are just suggested in the vocal performance, they were notated in parenthesis in a way that the words could be understood in the reading context.
In the measures 25 and 26 the song lyrics is dubious and could not be exactly defined due to the recording’s poor audio quality. Because of that, two suggestions were notated.
In the last three measures of the composition, the lyrics could not be transcribed exactly due to due to the recording’s poor audio quality and the performer diction. Because of that, we chose not to notate any lyrics suggestion.
